Eligibility for On-Demand Examination
Students who have failed in the 10th or 12th grade exams conducted by CBSE/ICSE or any state board are eligible for the On-Demand Examination offered by NIOS. If you’re a student with a failed mark sheet from the 10th or 12th grade, you can apply for the On-Demand Examination. You have the option to take this exam in any state across India. If you’re ready to take the exam sooner rather than later and want to avoid further delays, you can apply for NIOS On-Demand Admission now.

TOC (Transfer of Credit) Facility in On-Demand Exam

This allows you to transfer a maximum of two passed subjects from your previous board’s mark sheet. You’ll then need to appear for a minimum of three subjects in the On-Demand exam. Once you pass these exams, you’ll receive mark sheets for all subjects from the NIOS board.

On-Demand Exam for Additional Subject & Pilot License (Aviation)

Upon passing these exams, students will receive a mark sheet; however, no migration or transfer certificate will be provided.
For students who completed their 12th class without having studied math or physics, they have the option to take exams in these subjects separately. This is particularly beneficial for those aspiring to pursue careers in fields such as aviation for obtaining a pilot license, or for those planning to appear for exams like the DGCA or NDA (National Defence Academy), among others.
