STREAM-1 (Block 1) (Admission 2025-26 April session)
NIOS Stream 1 Block II admission typically opens on September 16th each year and closes on March 15th with late fees. If you’re looking to enroll in the NIOS board and plan to appear for exams during the October-November session, it’s best to apply for admission within this timeframe. For returning students who did not pass any subjects in their previous results, this is an excellent opportunity to retake the exams and improve their performance. This session provides a crucial chance for students to enhance their results and continue progressing in their academic journey. Students who have recently failed in the 10th or 12th classes from any recognized board, or possess failed mark sheets of the 10th and 12th classes after 2020, have the opportunity to apply for admission now. They can take NIOS exams in October 2025. For students who have failed in one or two subjects, they can appear for exams in three subjects, and the marks obtained in the previously passed subjects will be transferred to the NIOS board mark sheet.
